Art Club
Art Club will be meeting soon. Our first project is crocheting 8 inch squares to be joined together to create an afghan to give to CASA. Community Service is an essential element for art club and creating art for purpose. :) Several teachers will be assisting us in this endeavor as we learn to crochet.
* Due to the nature of creating art - sometimes we need more time to complete specific projects and forecasted lesson plans are subject to change.
* I am passionate about reading and I think it is important for students to know that I am a voracious reader as well as an artist. I like to read what the students are reading and keep current with them. My favorite reading is historical fiction - usually they have references to art and help to make time periods in art history interesting and purposeful. :)
