*Number Families Poster- Find pictures from old magazines or the internet of an old person  to represent Real Numbers, a "crazy-looking" or a person who dresses or looks bizarre to represent the Irrational Numbers, an intelligent, "got-it-together" or well dressed person to represent Rational Numbers,  a very negative,  mean or angry person to represent Integers, a round or very fat person to represent Whole Numbers, and a baby or toddler to represent Counting ( Natural) Numbers.  Draw a Family Tree type of diagram with Real Numbers at the top, split into Rationals and Irrationals, with Rationals' "offspring" being Integers, Integers producing Whole Numbers and Whole Numbers producing Counting Numbers.  Beside each "branch" of the tree, place the appropriate picture and the definition of the number set.  Most of the definitions are in the text book, but we will go over together all the details in class on Tuesday. Try to make your poster unique ( borders, draw in frames, dimensions, colors, shapes, etc.).
