*We had a wonderful first day of school

*Please remember to fill out and return all papers.

 

 

 

  Reading is Groovy

*This week we will begin introducing students to reading workshop rules and procedures.

 

 

Surfing the Math Wave

*Students will begin reviewing place value concepts and basic addition and subtraction strategies.

 

SCIENCE

*We will be receiving our materials for our first science unit very soon.  Students will be studying plant growth and development.

 

 

LANGUAGE

 *Students will be doing Daily Oral Language (DOL) each day and Daily Language Review (DLR) for homework.  We will also be reviewing capitalization and punctuation.

 

 

 

HOMEWORK

READING --   Read at least 20 min.

MATH --  Basic fact sheet reviews

LANGUAGE-- DLR
