NO INK PENS ARE ALLOWED IN MY ROOM. STUDENTS WHO USE INK WILL BE WARNED THE FIRST TIME. YOU CANNOT ERASE (EVEN IF IT IS ERASABLE IT DOES NOT ERASE WELL) AND THE PAPERS ARE MESSY!

ALSO

STUDENTS MUST SHOW THEIR WORK. ALL PROCEDURES SHOULD BE SHOWN. IF A STUDENT DOES  NOT SHOW WORK - THEY WILL RECEIVE A ZERO.

Grading Policy

Homework – 50%

Tests – 35%

Quizzes – 15%

‘Bell ringers” will be on the board for you each day. These are worth five points each. At the end of each nine weeks, your bell ringers will be combined for a test grade.

Homework will be graded daily for accuracy.

NO WORK NO CREDIT!

It is very important to understand that you will not pass my class if you do not do your homework and prepare for tests!

Room Rules and Procedures

1.   Be in your assigned seat and working on the “bell ringer” when the tardy bell STARTS to ring!

2.   Be prepared. Bring paper, pencil and any other book(s) needed for class.

3.   NO INKPENS ARE ALLOWED IN MATH CLASS!

4.   Raise your hand for permission to speak or leave your desk.

5.   No food, candy, drinks, etc are allowed in class.

6.   Respect others and yourself!

Passes out of class!

You are allowed 2 passes per nine weeks to leave my room. After you use your two passes, you CANNOT leave my room.  I have 53 minutes to help you learn. I will take all 53. I consider this my time!

Extra Credit

At this point and time, I do not offer extra credit. If I choose to do so, I will post the assignment on my website. Do not depend on extra credit. If you do the regular assignments, you will be successful in my class.
