6th Grade Reading -- Mrs. Womac
November 30 - December 4, 2009
Back to class after a super Thanksgiving holiday! Three weeks left in this 9 week grading period.
Most classes are presenting their vocabulary
projects on Monday and Tuesday of this week. After that we will be
back to reading The Cay. Sixth period will be testing on
Chapters 1-7 on Friday, and all the other periods will be testing on Monday
of next week. Students who have missed reading days have several
opportunities to make up the reading: before school, during DEAR
(homeroom) time, during study skills, or during our 10 minutes reading in
class. At this point no student has missed more than a day of reading
without getting a book to take home to make up the reading. NOTE TO
PARENTS: I will be checking homework on Friday of this week!
Make sure that you have signed your child's AR log and that they have
recorded in the correct column.
