6th Grade Reading -- Mrs. Womac November 17-21, 2008
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Progress reports and AR Reports go home on Tuesday, November 18th. Both need to be signed and returned to school. Next week, students will be taking the 2nd Think Link Learning Assessment test. This will be taken during homeroom, so it is very important that your child is present both of the days (Monday, Nov. 24 and Tuesday, Nov. 25). The Thanksgiving Holiday will being on Wednesday, Nov. 25th. Special Note: The book fair is going on this week -- students are going to the library almost every day to look for books and other items. All the proceeds from the book fair benefit our school. Many, many great books are on sale as well as other items that your children would enjoy. Please consider sending money for them to make purchases.
Other important notes: This week most classes will be reviewing the first Think Link test in order to better prepare for our second test which will be next week. I will be taking a test grade on the Think Link tests, but this first test I will be allowing students to correct their wrong answers and giving back full credit for missed questions.
Fourth Period will be using a different reading text this year with a program called Journey's. They will have separate plans so please click on 4th Period Plans to see what we will be doing each day.
