50 MILE CLUB

Reminder: Students can do 15 miles (trail miles) away from school until the Christmas break. Parents need to send a note informing us of the number of miles that were run. Also, if a student participates in a road race, i.e., the Wild Irish Run, Hope Place Run, Cotton Row Run, and a parent sends a note, those miles will be in addition to the 15.
CONGRATULATIONS! to Parker Jeffreys. A 5th grader who has a total of 31 miles. He accomplished this by turning in notes for the15 miles that can be done away from school and by choosing to run on Fridays.
The latest students who have met their half way goal of 25 miles are: Jeffrey Brickey (lst 4th grader), Robbie Maples and Bailey Norrell (5th graders).
Also, the members in 50 mile club are making improvements in their ability to finish the mile without walking. We are especially proud of the 3rd graders. They have made big changes in their running. Several 3rd graders are now running without stopping .

100 Pullup Club
A 100 Pullup chart has been started for 5th graders. Students who complete 100 pullups will be have their name added to a chart. Students can work on this on Fridays, or other days when they have spare time, or whenever we practice pullups for the fitness test. This is not required for students. This is something they can choose to do.
The first student to add his name to the chart is, Parker Jeffreys. He has 109 pullups. Way to go, Parker!!!!!
New pullup club members are Sammy Johnson, John Ben Burden, and John Tyler Green-----Way to go, fellas!!! Parker Jeffreys leads our pullup club with 200 pullups.
Additions to the pullup club: Harrison Skinner, Edmund Kellar, Jack Patton, Charlie Conner, and the first girl Lenne Le!
